R.W. Kids is an independent, family owned Ottawa based business that specializes in OshKosh. It carries the best selection of OshKosh in Canada.

Before Russ Warren, (the R.W. in R.W. Kids) opened his first R.W. Kids store in Ottawa, he worked for 24 years for his family's retail chain of stores. Warren's Men's Wear Limited was started by his Dad and his Uncle in 1935. Shortly before Russ entered the business in 1971 Warren's opened the first Warren's House of Britches, a "jean store" for teens and twenties.

As Russ got older the merchandise selection in the House of Britches got broader and in the mid 80's started to carry a new line to Canada called OshKosh B'Gosh. It was an excellent quality children's wear line, made in Canada under Licence from OshKosh B'Gosh in the USA.In the early 90's, the third generation of Warren's (Russ' nephew) started working at Warren's House of Britches. It was decided to narrow Warren's House of Britches focus to where it began, a store specializing in denim for teensand twenties. Needless to say OshKosh didn't fit into that mix. So having seen the quality and sales potential of OshKosh B'Gosh, in April 1994 Russ left the family firm and opened Ottawa's (and Canada's) first OshKosh store. With Warren's he had experienced the high costs associated in the large enclosed shopping centres. He decided to go into a smaller neighbourhood mall and pass the rental savings on to his customers by way of membership benefits. He located the first store in Hampton Park Plaza in Ottawa, right off the Queensway, the main four lane road that goes right through the middle of Ottawa. So even though it's in a neighbourhood mall, it was still accessible from the whole city.

These membership benefits include a 15% discount off regular price, and two unique benefits. Members can trade-in their used OskKosh itemss for $5 to $10 off another purchase.
